• Installation & configuration of Windows, Linux, AIX, OS/400 OS and platform specific products & troubleshooting in a timely manner.• Performing administrative task under different development platforms including Windows, AIX, OS/400 and VMware ESX Server.• Old Servers hardware upgrades plan & design for support of In House Developed Applications and/or Third party Software.• Lotus Notes Management & Mail Database Management.• Project Collaboration Software (Alexsys Team 2) implementation and maintenance.• Analyzing and Documenting projects and assignments• Disaster recovery set-up, planning designing and implementing• Server audit for hardware and systems logs• Lead or participate in multiple projects in accordance with institutional and departmental goals• Supervise and participate in the ongoing maintenance of the server environment as well as all related infrastructure.• Participate in the development of schedules, priorities, and determination of time lines and resources.• Develop and maintain a program of proactive system administration, including but not limited to a system of updates, patches and fixes, system enhancements, log monitoring, and system hardening.• Develop and maintain a server recovery plan for all systems to include both a regular backup schedule and tested process for data restoration• Help all departments in assuring that the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
