The Community Partnership Coordinator (CPC) serves as the Community Engagement Center’s lead representative in the community, introducing community organizations to the work of the CEC, and to the processes for building Community Engaged Learning and Academic Internship partnerships with Sacramento State faculty and students. The CPC serves as the main conduit of community service-related information for Sacramento State faculty and students; informs the campus of relevant community initiatives and programs; and works with CEC staff to ensure that the community partnership process is efficient, coherent and responsive to the needs of the community partners, SL students and faculty. The CPC works with the CEC’s Resource Analyst, designated campus IT staff and Chancellor’s Office S4 database support staff to manage the CECConnect database, the primary tool used to: a) track the status of University-Community Agency SL partnerships; (b) update and disseminate community partner information related to risk management; (c) register service learning student placements; and (d) gather semester/yearly data regarding the quantity, location and program focus of service learning placements and partnerships. The CPC will also work with the CEC Director to evaluate the quality of Community Engaged Learning experiences, Academic Internships.

Under the direction of the Director, provides information on professional learning opportunities (Expository Reading and Writing Course (ERWC). 5. Maintains a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances and othercommunication opportunities.6. Under the direction of the Director, meets with and addresses a variety of groups, including, but not limited to: school/college administrators, board members, officials of public and private agencies and corporations, to gather and disseminate information relative to a variety of Center initiatives, external programs, partnerships, and long-term project results.
