Communications and Marketing (2015 - 2020)Communications Specialist (2011-2015)Oversee marketing and communications for the College of Education and Human Development. Create strategic communications plans and tactics designed to attract prospective students and engage current students, staff, families, donors and the community in our research and programs.Responsibilities:Work with administrators to identify and prioritize program needs and develop effective internal and external tactics to accomplish goals.Create and implement marketing strategies to attract undergraduate/graduate students to academic programs through targeted email messages, purchased print and digital ads, social media posts and ads and print materials.Identify/write/edit compelling stories on faculty/student accomplishments shared through UD's admissions, research and alumni channels and repurposed as testimonials, media releases, and during internal and external event presentations.Coordinate the design and implementation of branded websites, brochures, visual images, videos and electronic newsletters.Manage/advise staff within Dean’s office, departments and centers to implement/maintain branded communications channels: social media platforms, websites, print collateral.Accomplishments: Coordinated the College’s rebranding initiative for 13 dept's print and digital collateral, including redesigning websites for branding, SEO, ADA. See: www.cehd.udel.edu, www.hdfs.udel.eduDeveloped and executed a multi-pronged print and digital recruitment campaign for online master’s programs, generating a 300% increase in webpage views in two months.Developed a successful marketing campaign to increase enrollment in UD's The College School, redesigning their website to highlight rigorous yet socially supportive environment. Increased awareness through print and digital channels: purchased ads, social media and targeted emails/eblasts. Enrollment rose 29% following the campaign.
