In this role with the Strategy & Change team, I was the lead strategic officer for several high priority projects within the Council including:• April 2020 to June 2020: Strategic lead for bereavement services during initial Covid19 emergency response. Priorities included developing a reporting system to monitor staffing, service capacity and bereavement support services to the borough as the pandemic began and the Council was working to understand its impact on residents and services.• June 2020 to January 2021: Program managed a restructure of the Council’s property management division, which merged our corporate, housing and school teams into an integrated service. Priorities included development of the programme approach and workstreams, launching a training programme of over 30 trainings for staff, and process reviews and mapping to develop workflows in the new structure.• January 2021 to April 2022: Strategic lead for Covid19 vaccinations within Adult Social Care. Priorities include identifying all eligible social care staff and service users in the borough for targeted comms on the vaccine, developed and managed a targeted approach to increase vaccine take up for this cohort, and managing the implementation of mandatory vaccinations for staff working in care homes.

In this role with the Program & Change Support team, I supported our corporate directorate in achieving the goals set out in the Council’s Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS). Key priorities included:• Program managed a portfolio of 37 cost saving projects within the Supporting People directorate• Regularly reported on the progress of this portfolio to the Council’s senior leadership team• Provided ad hoc project management support such as the development of an insourcing proposal for the Council’s grounds maintenance services and development of program plans for our Safer Camden strategy• Wrote and delivered the Council’s Introduction to Project Management training to project and program managers in Camden

Develop state mandated trainings for employees of Abilities Network. This is a temporary position developed due to my recent move to London.

* Program Director for Baltimore City and the following counties in Maryland: Anne Arundel, Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary's* Recruitment, training, development, and supervision of 2 program managers and 16 direct support staff* Creation and/or implementation of new trainings, policies, and procedures meeting state mandated guidelines for quality assurance.

* Supervised the program director overseeing services in Howard County, Maryland* Program Director for a region that included parts of Baltimore County and Baltimore City. Performed all duties as listed under Program Director (2007-2014) below.

* Supervised staff in Howard county, Baltimore county, and Baltimore city* Write and deliver agency trainings in regards to new hire information, procedures for working with state agencies such as DORS and DDA, and a curriculum for job readiness. * Conduct initial intake with clients and their families to market services and assess necessary level of support.* Formally evaluate work performance of staff annually per Abilities Network appraisal system requirements.

* Provided case management and direct services to individuals with disabilities in their communities and homes to foster inclusion and independence. * Provided and obtained community and state resources for client growth and independence in areas of community living, employment, food, housing, money management, insurance, and transportation.* Wrote and implemented annual plans of services outlining goals designed to increase independence of individuals in our services.
