CEN-CENELEC JTC 19 ‘Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies’ is a joint CEN-CENELEC technical committee, whose Secretariat is held by the Italian Standardization Body UNI, responsible for the development and adoption of standards for Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies in Europe.In particular, CEN-CLC/JTC 19 will proceed with the identification and adoption of international standards already available or under development. The JTC will work in close contact with ISO/TC 307 ‘Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies’. Furthermore, CEN-CLC/JTC 19 will focus on specific European legislative and policy requirements, in support of the development of the EU Digital Single Market.

This Technical Committee is responsible for the definition of the Electronic Invoicing European Standard (EN) and the ancillary standardization deliverables asked for in Directive 2014/55/EU on Electronic Invoicing and the subsequent Standardisation Request issued by the European Commission
