As the Project Coordinator for the Safety Net Grants (SNG) program at The Boston Foundation, I supported the launch of this important program, which aims to provide timely investment in organizations responding to immediate essential needs in marginalized communities.Responsibilities included supporting the SNG application process by providing responsive support for applicants through email and phone inquiries, supporting applicants and reviewers with the grants management software (Smart Simple), creating and leading community reviewer training, support, and feedback processes, and supporting the facilitation of reviewer team meetings and final decision-making processes.Additionally, developed recommendations for ongoing process improvements for the SNG program. This included collecting and analyzing feedback from applicants and reviewers to improve the program, including participatory processes, developing recommendations to improve accessibility for all forms of communication, and developing recommendations based on learnings for a sustainable recruiting strategy for community reviewers moving forward.

As a leader and supervisor for a year-long development program, I was responsible for generating diverse learning and training opportunities for over 60 employees. This role involved collaborating on the recruitment process and serving as an advisor and strategic consultant for performance management. I also assisted with change management by clarifying program-related regulations and policies for staff and district partners.Some key achievements in this role include:• Maintained a satisfaction rate of +90% for each monthly learning and development day over 10 months. • Optimizing recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives, which included placing focus on stronger onboarding and new hire orientations, which allowed us to capture an 11% increase in role clarity and alignment.• Partnering with cross-functional staff and management teams to design and execute special coaching and training projects, including department restructuring.• Slashing the data processing time by 50% after introducing process improvements and optimizations on bridging employee skill gaps on cloud data infrastructure.
