Armed with an MBA from Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW, Australia) in which I was selected for an exchange program with Stephen Ross School of Business (University of Michigan, USA), I specialise in evidence-based strategy and business management of the medical research and healthcare sector.I am currently the Business Manager for St John WA, the primary provider of ambulance and first aid services for the community of Western Australia. Previously, I was the Business Manager for the Children's Diabetes Centre, a JDRF Global Centre of Excellence in Diabetes Research based at Telethon Kids/Perth Children's Hospital, as well as Project Manager for all national and international technology trials led by the Centre.I have more than 10 years of experience in medical research, including clinical trials, genetics, microbiology, molecular biology, and omics studies as well as seven years in managing medical research projects and laboratories in Perth Children's Hospital (formerly Princess Margaret Hospital), Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital site (under UWA, Australia), and Telethon Kids Institute (Australia).I also have background in both healthcare and business management strategy, and eleven years of experience working in state university and not-for-profit sector to be an effective leader and an integral part of the team.
