My career narrative takes place in FinTech but stretches over various trades within the industry. From being a Technical Project Manager of hardware in my first stint to making a pivot into Automation Engineering, I have garnered varied experience that have made me the adaptable and adept person I am today. The story begins at Clover and covers the last 5+ years. Eager to start in a role where I could use my experience in customer-service and software development, I became a technical project manager of devices on a cross-functional team. A year into the role, I streamlined the process of global device allocation and automated device configuration by using tools like Excel, Flask-SQL and a great eye for spatial-planning. Successfully training a non-technical team that cherished their pens and post-its to confidently move forward with the systems I set in place, I passed the baton. As the company grew, so did I. Based on my accomplishments in Hardware, Clover's automation team invited me up to engineering full time and I began another chapter at Clover as an SDET in Quality Assurance. As an SDET my objectives include maintaining existing automation tests for Clover Apps and developing new test cases that assure the quality of new features. Tools used on a daily basis include Ui Automator, Java and REST APIs.My multi-faceted career so far has enabled me to explore and learn about software development, hardware distribution and cross functional team training at any experience level. In case you're curious, my name is pronounced, "uh-SELL-ee-uh". Some might even say "uh-seely-uh". I respond to either pronunciation.
