I am a Certified Family Life Educator with the National Council on Family Relations in ten specific family life content areas including Families and Individuals in Societal Context, Internal Dynamics of Families, Family Resource Management, Family Law, and Public Policy, Professional Ethics, and Education Methodology and more. I'm completed my M.A.Ed in Trauma and Resilience in Educational Settings. I have over eleven years of experience working directly with at-risk youth and family members providing personalized private court-ordered workshops. I research, develop, and facilitate all aspects of these, and other family and school-based programs for Achieve Life Balance. I recently completed a series of accountability, resilience, and goal-setting workshops for adolescents and young adults. These workshops are designed to help individuals achieve personal empowerment and control, increase problem-solving skills, manage stressful situations, and remove roadblocks. Combined, these skills can improve confidence levels and help individuals set attainable goals and reach them. I also have experience as a Title I Parent/Family Engagement Coordinator at Oxbow Elementary. This position requires significant experience managing multiple aspects of Title I programs per federal guidelines and ensuring we’re fully supporting our families in need. I absolutely love working with families, youth, and individuals! I have been blessed to have additional experience in marketing (advertising, sales, public relations, and journalism) that support Achieve Life Balance’s growth, bringing opportunities to schools, businesses, and additional communities.
