In my current role I work as an international travel consultant for Flight centre at the forefront of the inspiring world of travel. Headquartered in New Malden in Surrey, Flight Centre UK has a portfolio including eight leisure and corporate travel brands and over 80 Flight Centre stores across the UK. My main responsibilities and focus is to sell business and leisure travel to clients, helping them reach destinations they desire, as well as some others perhaps they hadn’t thought of as well as looking after and arranging flights and visas. Responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of clients and managing them simultaneously is essential and requires great organisational skills. I have acquired in depth knowledge of product offerings, complex airfares, and booking processes which allow me to work with a range of suppliers within the travel industry including airlines, accommodation providers and adventure tour companies which allows me to deliver expert recommendations.

This past summer I was working as a captain for Marbella Marina for the summer season driving 12m-22m boats that I would be both chartering and delivering to owners who had requested their boats in a specific location. My responsibilities and duties have included planning & revising daily charters, tender driving, skippering charters and towing guests/clients primarily for doighnutting & waterskiing/wakeboarding and have been actively involved in a number of water sport activities including paddle boarding, using a seabob, diving and wakeboarding. I have a good working knowledge of painting, general maintenance & varnishing together with a strong background in water sports including wakeboarding, mono-skiing &have recently taken up kite surfing which I absolutely love.Over the years I have acquired various boating experience as it is a passion of mine and has developed my skills in piloting, navigation, meteorology, practical seamanship, steering sail handling, anchoring, mooring, rope-work & general upkeep duties including cleaning, maintenance & galley duties which opened my eyes to the world of sailing and was what inspired me to want to learn more and seek employment within this industry. I have all my valid offshore certificates including my ENG-1 Medical, STCW95, PADI, IPBL2 with commercial endorsement.

In my current role I work with the family business assisting the project manager with development sites in Perth & Kinross. I help maintain progress records for defects rectification, site visits and inspections including safety assessments, updating project expenditure records for bank draw downs and assisting with marketing and maintenance tasks.
