Technical reviewer of applications for the Living Building Challenge and Zero Energy Building certification programs offered by the International Living Future Institute. Provide quality check of submission materials and perform on-site audits of projects to verify intent and compliance with the certification programs.

Provided green building and technical consultation to a variety of project teams in the commercial, retail, manufacturing and institutional sectors. Responsibilities included:● Management of technical teams to deliver complex energy analyses, financial assessments, and integration of performance metrics into projects’ basis of design● Development and delivery of professional training programs for organizations such as the GBCI, Sustainable Building Advisor Institute, AGC, Universities and several Fortune 500 companies. Co-development of comprehensive construction training and toolset for teams contracted by large national retail portfolio owners. ● Lead firm-wide eco-charrette facilitation and concept development practices.● Management of integrated design facilitation and green building certification for numerous high- aspiration projects, including achievement of LEED Platinum and Net Zero Energy status.● 10 years’ experience as a LEED technical reviewer for the U.S. Green Building Council and contributing author to the LEED v4 Reference Guide.

Led a 30+ student team from Carnegie Mellon University in the design and construction of a modular net-zero-energy solar home. Competed in the inaugural Solar Decathlon competition on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
