Evaluating the Pan EU performance of 37 Middle mile Nodes across UK, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, France, Italy, and Spain comprising the European middle mile network, alongside Surface Transportation, Ship with Amazon (external sellers utilizing Amazon's ordering and/or transportation facilities), and AMXL (Amazon Heavy Bulky Volume). Establishing the right tradeoffs between DEA, Speed, and Cost. Working with Operations and support teams to make any necessary process improvements to deliver on target.

Leading Capacity Planning Workstream for the pan European Middle mile network, identifying variables that directly influence or constrain Capacity, and using these variables to model and calculate the capacity of each node (sort center) in the network. Automating the calculations by directly pulling relevant data points, align with engineering teams where needed data points are not captured yet, define methodologies for calculation in collaboration with operations experts. Additionally, enabling all Sort centers to transition to a single source of capacity.

Highlights: Automated Sort Center Capacity setting which was a manual process before, standardizing process for all European Sort Centers instead of region wise different procedures involving multiple teams. The one stop Web solution eliminates manual steps, the need to involve multiple teams, and reduces time of deployment from 2 days to 1 hour. Leading volume flow and capacity management program for 32 sort centers in Europe (UK, DE, FR, IT, and ES). Process improvement specialist, in charge of standardizing, and automating the related business processes enabling accurate virtual assignment of 10M shipments on a daily basis to physical routes in a transportation network to be delivered to customers on time.

Highlights: Launched 2 new sort centers improving delivery speed in Paris and Lyon area by 1 day. Additionally improving speed of exports to Netherlands and Belgium by increasing the overall capacity of French network. Delivered contingency plans for the European middle mile transportation network enabling the delivery of 10 million packages on a daily basis despite strikes and protests.In charge of tactical network planning for 5 sort centres comprising Amazon's middle mile network for France. Leading the volume management effort for sort centres, optimising the middle mile network topology (connections and routes between different warehouses) for customer experience, cost, speed, and launching new facilities. In addition, leading contingency planning for middle mile network across Europe as a network design subject matter expert for the business continuity program. The role requires a good understanding of information technology and graphical networks leading to an accurate representation of physical routes and warehouse constraints in the transportation IT systems and software.

Supervised development of the PathSBML plugin for PathVisio, acting as a mentor in the Google Summer of Code Program. The plugin allows import, validation, automatic layouting and export of SBML models in PathVisio. SBML and GPML are both XML based languages the former used to describe mathematical models of molecular biological data and the latter used to describe graphical representations of molecular biology data. This plugin bridges the knowledge of mathematical modellers and biologists helping them to use each others models and combine their knowledge about a biological process.

Developed PathVisioRPC- the XMLRPC interface for PathVisio, as part of Google Summer of Code Program. This interface allows the programmatic use of PathVisio functionality through RPC based web service calls. Set up the extraction procedures and created related software for a newly purchased ESI QTOF Mass Spectrometer. Compared seven extraction methods to select the best extraction procedure, that is the one that allows maximum metabolites to be extracted, for each group of compounds.
