As the Associate Director of Operations for NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest public healthcare system in the country. I managed a team of professionals to deliver the best service and quality of healthcare that New York can achieve, and did so by introducing more than 10 human capital transformation projects that improved process efficiency, lowered operating costs, and enhanced customer experiences.• Manage and optimize 360° multidisciplinary project execution for 10+ human capital transformation projects, including developing strategy, milestones, and deliverables:• Lowered overall operating costs – specifically in cost-heavy areas such as medical laboratories, hospital pharmacies and home health care.• Improved customer experiences through the incorporation of new technologies that expedite wait times and improve accuracy of diagnosis.• Initiated the removal of departmental silos and creating a unified goal for departments and units, leading to improved patient experience.• Collaborate with innovation and effectiveness (lean) teams to concretize creative strategies and visual process media for transformation project stakeholder education.

Specifically, managing recruitment, hiring and training.• Provided mentorship and guidance to a diverse team of eight psychologists responsible for developing robust psychological tests used for employee selection; ultimately improved the quality of hires and reduced rate of new hire turnover.• Directed the development of fiscal year strategy plans, including a schedule of over 200 outlined projects ranging from $20,000 to $1M.• Developed process improvement strategy to ensure strict adherence to all legal standards and psychometric testing guidelines.• Managed a diverse team of I/O Psychologists, created and administered a schedule of 25+ civil service assessments.

• Created process methods (which included data collection and interpretation) for developing competency based civil service exams for New York City Civil Services jobs such as Police Officer, Firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician.• Identified assessment goals and strategy; embedded myself with high- profile collaborators (NYPD, FDNY).• Secured the appropriate subject matter experts to create content (Questions, diagrams, Visuals etc.) for the exam.• Created content for the exam with the SME’s guidance on the specifics of that role.• Drafted a timeline and project plan, and turned SME output into usable content that was valid, reliable, defensible and in accordance with psychological assessment standards.
