I have mitigated complaints at the lowest level through mediation. I assist in the development and implementation of the CHRO AA Plan through the utilization of EPM report writing, downloading data from CoreCT for the creation of the different types of analyses used in the Plan such as the workforce, availability, utilization and employment analyses, per the CT State Regulations of CHRO. I collect information needed for the Plan such as but not limited to internal/external communications and assignment of responsibility. I was part of the CHRO AA Legislative Working Group where I assisted with the revisions of the AA State Regulations. I assist with the development and implementation of the FTA EEO AA Plan by collecting similar data as the CHRO AA Plan. I monitor and review FTA subrecipient EEO/AA Plans for approval who meet the threshold, per the FTA EEO Circular C4704.1a. I have facilitated state mandated trainings in the areas of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Age and Gender Sensitivity, and Sexual Harassment Prevention; one-on-one and groups of approximately 30-140 employees. I assist with the development of training materials for education and outreach. I monitor employment interviews for hires and promotions for non-discrimination and fair practices in the process. I was the Chairperson for the DOT's Diversity Council where I made it a goal to foster awareness through diversity, equity, and inclusion. I offer career counseling to DOT employees. I utilize my strong written and oral communication skills daily.
