MV Toll Cygnet - IMO9766982 / LCT 59.6m / 1136GRT / 70 TEU / B.V Mar 2015 - Sep 2017Contracted directly to Chevron. As a pilot exempt master duties included but not limited to, transporting deck, liquid & bulk DG cargo between Dampier and Barrow Is via LoLo & RoRo methods. Additional duties included, SMS development, CHESM audits, OVID’s, SIRE inspections, strict quarantine management and Class surveys.MV Toll Kestrel - IMO 9656060/LCT 84.0m / 2045GRT / Lloyds Apr 2013 - Mar 2015 Contracted directly to Bechtel. As a pilot exempt master duties included but not limited to, transporting deck, liquid & bulk DG cargo between Gladstone and Curtis Is via RoRo methods. Additional duties include SMS development, contractor inspections and Class surveys. Completed multiple day and night arrivals and departures using the vessels multiple Azimuth Drive systems.

MY DragonFly (ex Silver Zwei) - 73.3m Commercial/Charter, 18 CrewMY DragonFly is a high speed non-conventional Motor Yacht. Built to Lloyds and SOLAS class and is capable of carrying 20 guests. The yacht was kept on an extremely busy and tight schedule, which included several yard periods, dry dockings, Cayman Islands and Lloyds surveys/audits. The Yacht was sold, and the name changed. Successfully navigated the vessel during several high-end charters, guest trips and completed Indian & Atlantic Ocean crossings for which included navigating through the pirated areas of the Gulf of Aden and SE Asia. Met the demanding and busy requirements of the owners whilst maintaining excellent crew retention.

MY Chevy Toy - 47m Private/Charter, 9 CrewPrimarily responsible for exterior maintenance, safety training/maintenance, crew training and management. Relief master during times of the master’s absence, responsible for the overall running the vessel and crew management/discipline at all times. Undertook many hours at the helm manoeuvring, anchoring and docking the vessel as required. Responsible for the safe operation and towing set up of the vessels 35ft Intrepid tender.

M/Y Pegaso - 54m Private Vessel, 13 full time crewResponsible for the everyday running, training and maintenance of the deck department with 4 deck crew. Involved with assisting the Master with general duties, deck accounting, the implementation of ISM practices/drills onboard, assisting in diving operations, maintained underwater film and photography equipment, and the safe operation and towing of the 29ft tender.

I was Employed on a casual basis as a Chief Officer delivering a variety of commercial vessels on international and national voyages for vessels ranging from a 50m Ro/Ro Vessel to a 57m New Build high-speed Navy Patrol vessel with 19 crew members.

Overseeing deck operations and maintenance, tender operations and the training of crew in deck operations and tender handling. I often worked as a relief Mate on board when required. I had two secondary roles these were; Dive Instructor/Guide and Fishing Guide where I additionally took responsibility for all aspects of these areas.

I was responsible for overseeing deck operations and maintenance. My secondary duties included Dive Master, Fishing Guide, 2nd Engineer and Captain of the towed 11m Sportfish tender ‘Dulce Pescando’, I was responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of this vessel and its related safety and fishing equipment.

R/V MesoCat (12m Commercial Research Vessel) CSIRO Marine Research - up to 8 scientists onboard.I was responsible for the safety of all crew and scientists whilst collecting marine research samples and data off the West Australian coast another duty was to assist scientists with technical aspects of fieldwork and data collection.
