Led a department of 12 Sailors from 3 different technical disciplines.• Served as the Deputy Project Manager for the design and installation of a Joint U.S./International Security Assistance Force operations center in Kabul, Afghanistan. Drove this $5 million project to completion 6-weeks early and $100,000 under budget.• Through an aggressive schedule of exercises and critical evaluations, developed two emergency response teams that had previously received grades of 0% and 25% on an externally administered inspection to 100%.• Developed a condition-based maintenance program, in addition to the existing time-based program, to improve equipment availability. Delivered equipment availability twice that of similar ships, at a 25% reduction in the maintenance budget.
