Gaining my Property and Casualty license thru the state of Indiana, my job was to assist current Safeco customers by providing smart friend help and recommendations by judging off policies that they currently had with Safeco. As a licensed agent I was able to provide the advice that any insurance agent would be able to give but with high confidence it would be in their best interest. During my first month of Phone work I repeatedly was acheiving metrics that were in place for agents the were they for greater than 6 months, while only being there for 3 and only 1 month of the being call center work.

Responsible for researching and verifying inventory levels within a Best Buy store that had multi-million dollar inventory. Creating and setting in place processes to prevent internal theft and reduce external shrink.

Using developed sales skills I pushed for revenue, margin and a higher customer experience. Also responsible for training new employees with both product knowledge and sales skills. Leading the team to perform consistently in the top three with in district stores and even territory stores as well.

Responsible for driving metrics including turn time, customer satisfaction, return rate, as well as employee satisfaction. While in position and teaming up with computer sales team we drove revenue and margin, becoming one of the best in the District of Indiana.

During that nine year time period, I gained the most business acumen as well as team building/leading and sales skill knowledge. Which laid the foundation for my future in other positions not only within Best Buy but also outside of the company.
