• Worked in the waterfall and Agile software development life cycles and with our Team Foundation System and Visual Studio 2010 development tools while supporting the suite of Line of Duty applications including: Line of Duty (LOD), Automated Line of Duty (ALOD), and Duty Determination Management System (DDMS) in support of the National Guard Bureau (NGB), U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC), Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), and Air National Guard (ANG)• Assisted in the analysis, design, development, unit test, and deployment of these software applications• Responsible for maintaining optimal systems performance through monitoring software performance, analyzing, and fine-tuning database queries, load testing, and the maintenance of automated interfaces• Analyzed and maintained external user interfaces with the LOD systems• Collaborated with team members to improve analysis, design, and development techniques in pursuit of the best methods and learning new techniques• Responsible for the analysis of proposed system modifications as well as the implementation of new software change requests. I worked under general supervision on the analysis, design, and implementation of these requests• Experience with SQL Server 2000+ in the design and development of Automated Information Systems (AIS)• Employed the use of normalization, database tuning, and industry database management methodologies to ensure the implementation of a finely tuned and efficient application• Responsible for the implementation of a system modification to the LOD suite of applications that required the analysis and development of a business and records management system which allowed the ANG to store and retrieve thousands of medically-related documents, thus automating and greatly improving the efficiency of the ANG LOD process.
