In 2017, I graduated from Hanover College with a BA in history and a certification in education. After working at a Hampton Inn and Suites as a desk associate - where I was being introduced to managerial skills - I attended an education workshop where I met my current employers at Indiana Math and Science Academy West. I currently teach "Ancient History 1" to 6th graders, "Ancient History 2 and Eastern History" to 7th graders, and "Beginning US History" to 8th graders and more. I have really developed a sense of passion for what I am currently doing, but some supplementary income is always welcome. Due to teaching six classes at three different grade levels, I have developed a keen ability to multi task and due to the nature of lesson planning I am very prompt, even early, at accomplishing required tasks.In 2021, I obtained my masters in Positive Psychology and Life Coaching with a specialization in Life Coaching. I utilize skills learned in this program every day as a teacher by solving disputes between students, parents, and coworkers. I also moved from teaching social studies in Indianapolis to teaching english / language arts at Hagerstown Elementary School.
