Adam Jacobs is the joint owner of award winning + nationally recognised Jacobs the Jewellers, Reading's oldest independent retail jewellery shop. A graduate of Bath University with a BSc (Hons) in business administration, Adam subsequently worked for Marks & Spencer Plc at Head Office and Evidently, a boutique marketing agency in London, before joining the family business in 2003. He is Chair of the National Association of Jewellers and chaired R.E.D.A., Reading's Economy + Destination Agency between 2016 and 2024. Over his time working in Reading, Adam has helped raised over £150,000 for the Royal Berks Charity as as well as other local charities. A Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, and a season ticket holder at Reading FC, he enjoys spending time with his family.
