Duties included:* Responsible for 24” structural mill reheat furnace operation and maintenance. This included improving energy efficiency, developing and implementing operating work instructions, developing, implementing, and training maintenance personal on preventive and predictive maintenance programs. * Responsible for a $2 million reheat furnace restoration. Duties included defining project objectives and scope, budgets and schedules. In addition include writing specifications and contracts, negotiating commercial contracts, project oversight, tracking, and reporting.During Chapter 11 Bankruptcy reorganization, I was responsible for developing operating budgets, tracking expenditures and projecting cash flow requirements for the operational vice president. * Responsible for identifying, planning, and organizing process improvement projects during chapter 11 reorganization.* Responsible for engineering and specification review of new mill equipment, development of maintenance programs, identification of critical spare parts, installation and commissioning of equipment, and training maintenance personnel and operators on proper use and care of equipment.* Responsible for developing start-up plan scenarios for production ramp-up of new equipment and shut-down of existing equipment.* Responsible for planning and scheduling the procurement, delivery, turning time requirements and cash flow requirements for the 22” mill rolls.

Claim included qualifying repair facilities used, estimating restoration work needed, assembling invoices and shipping documents, calculating damages, and developing the formal document.* Lead for all mechanical equipment damage repairs caused in shipping accidents. This included purchasing over $2 million of steel fabrications and reconditioning $5 million of chock bearing inventory.
