I am a founder and the sole owner of Five Ton Monkey, a design and fabrication shop serving film, museums, festivals, architects, designers and many others. I have been making things professionally since 1991. I've been an IATSE prop-maker, gang boss, construction fore-person and construction coordinator for film and television, building and managing the construction of sets, set-pieces, and various objects in over twenty-five productions, including: The Ballad of Buster Scruggs; Independence Day: Resurgence; El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie; Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials; Better Call Saul; The Michael J. Fox Show; and, in the legendary Stiegelbauer Scenic Shop in Brooklyn, Saturday Night Live. I also previously owned and operated a design and fabrication business, specializing in modern furniture and architectural woodwork, collaborating with architects, designers, artisans, builders, and private clients, offering works in wood, wood and metal veneers, aluminum, steel, 3form, and other materials. Originally from New York, I have been in New Mexico for over twenty years.
