Five Ton Monkey, LLC

Five Ton Monkey is a design and fabrication shop in Albuquerque, NM. We design, fabricate, finish and install things great and small for museums, zoos, events, festivals, architects, builders, designers, artists, interactive entertainment entities, the film industry (where we started), and others. We work in wood, metal, concrete, plastics, foam, and other materials. In addition to general fabrication, we provide modeling and design, mold-making and casting, production CNC routing, scenic finishes, 3d printing and more. We run multiple projects of varying scale and complexity simultaneously under tight deadlines. We work on large-scale architectural builds and delicate 3d printed elements. We have over 16,000 square feet of working space. We ship and install anywhere. We have provided work to over forty major motion pictures and television series. We opened our shop in 2019, but our background in design and fabrication stretches back over thirty years.
