Chief Executive Officer/Lead Consultant
CurrentAs one of the founders of Hope Rises of MN, LLC, I also hold the role of the Lead Consultant. Over the years it has become apparent that the number of people that need 245D services has grown significantly, and I will never be able to help everyone that needs the support. CurrentAs the Executive Director, I am currently filling the role of a visionary for Enriched Living, LLC, however previously held the title of both Visionary and Integrator. When I began in 2019, Enriched Living was a small company of only eight employees and around $500,000 in gross revenue at year-end. After four years with the organization, we closed 2023 with $11.1 million in revenue. My intent when joining Enriched was to utilize an EOS/Traction model to grow it into the leading social service organization in Minnesota. I am responsible for all operations & services provided by Enriched. This includes ensuring that the company provides a variety of top-quality services that help disabled Minnesotans achieve their life goals, live as independently as possible in the community, and become active participants. I specialize in supporting those who have not been able to obtain stability due to extensive support needs (significant behavioral challenges, severe and persistent mental illness, chemical dependency, intellectual disability, etc.), and to date I have developed over 30 different Community Residential Settings (CRS) in addition to other services. I oversaw the development of all policies and procedures related to how Enriched Living, LLC operates as a business. Leading the organization to receive zero licensing citations or fines during my tenure, including no substantiated maltreatment against Enriched Living, LLC. Oversaw implementation of multiple payroll software providers, EVV software, billing software, AP & AR software, company credit card policy and procedure development, website development & then re-design, Microsoft Office 365 & SharePoint, and managed network services. Developed programs for 20+ individuals who had not been successful with other providers. Working to make an impact on systemic issues surrounding social service reform through involvement with DHS on different initiatives such as the Crisis Cooperative.

As the Senior Area Director for Specialized Community Supports I cover half the state of Minnesota, from the metro area to the southern border with Iowa. This is a new line of service for Lutheran Social Service I assisted in creating, with the primary focus on developing homes for individuals that do not fit into traditional programs. The majority of these individuals struggle with intellectual disabilities co-occurring with mental illness, potentially chemical dependency, and have significant behavioral challenges. The goal of Specialized Community Supports is to build programs around the individual instead of trying to fit individuals into existing homes, and to support the individuals in the most person centered manner possible. Developed a new “Committee” knows as the Special Task Force, focusing on moving LSS forward through different innovative task forces addressing different issues from licensing, moving towards a paperless organization, to electronic visitor verification system, and more. Involved in grassroots - working to promote legislative change for individuals with disabilities Was awarded the CEO Leadership Excellence Award in 2017 for my work in the Specialized Community Supports program Have become known as one of the leaders in the state for providing community based services for some of the most challenging individuals residing in the community in the state of Minnesota. I have established excellent relationships with different entities including different counties, Community Support Services, Lead Agencies, Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center, MN Security Hospital, and many more. Course corrected the budget for my area and made it profitable after initially being budget $(250,000.00) In three years, I have increased the annual total revenue stream by over 5 million.

Working on the company wide Safety Committee Proposed a plan to take move the company towards a paperless system, and working to continue it's development. Attended Legislative rallies, as well as informational sessions, and public hearings to stay on top of legislative changes affecting services. Then aided the company in implementing these changes to services and policies. Attended training on creating a more "Person Centered" approach to services Continued to work with a wide variety of individuals, both children and adults, with varying diagnosis (DD, MI, Dual Diagnosis, Chemical Dependency)

Responsible for overseeing all programmatic, financial, medical, staffing, and ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations related to 203, 245b, and most recently 245d for two different homes serving adults with various disabilities. This opportunity provided me with some new challenges, and the clientele was different then my previous experiences. I was also responsible for ensuring quality of care for each of the individuals, and that they were content with their programs and current living situations. Developed new positive programming for each of the individuals I served, as well as adapting the programming as needed to fit the changing needs/preferences of each individual.
