I was raised in a world of gadgets and gizmos and have an unquenchable desire to understand everything about as many of them as possible. Everything from digital networks to engines to media production to energy has caught my attention at one time or another. I am currently an engineering undergraduate taking every opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of mechanical systems, robotics and mechatronics. Building a concept physically is just as exciting as designing an idea digitally. I have a tendency to sink more effort into projects than I should, possibly due to an uninhibited work ethic stemming from my first real "job" as a harvester in the orchards near my home town. But there is nothing better than handing a perfected, completed project over to a friend or neighbor knowing they have one less problem to worry about.
