● Overseeing Merchandising for primary accounts e.g. Arcadia, Tesco, Asda and Shop Direct managing a total annual account turnover value of £9m.● Production of weekly Merchandising reports monitoring stock flow both on Direct Dispatch from Cascade’s own warehouse facility and FOB orders (direct delivery from factory to customer DC).● Ensuring timely delivery of all customer samples from Development, through Red Seal and finally production/Gold Seal samples.● Monitoring weekly sales, forecasting and placing rebuys with factories to ensure correct stock level. ● Responsible for all aspects of the Critical Path for each account: from development/design sheet stage, through sealing, up to delivery of bulk product; providing bespoke weekly customer updates.● Reviewing weekly P&L reports, submitting recommendations where gains can be made; then working with Product Developer to resource applicable lines.● Collaborating with Buying/QA teams to document and submit all notes regarding approval samples to the factories, and with Product Development to ensure changes to applicable lines are actioned.● Collaborating with Packaging/Labelling to ensure accurate product representation at point-of-sale.

● Responsible for £5m annual turnover for Sainsbury’s, Arcadia and River Island within Ladieswear casual jersey, casual dresses, formal tops and formal dresses.● Managing relationships with supply base in Turkey, China and Bangladesh. Undertaking regular trips to meet with them, working through current production and development for customers. ● Ensure samples i.e. development/buying, fit, pre-production are delivered within the critical path.● Liaising daily with the Buying Depts. and regularly attending meetings with customers and Account Managers to discuss and action development as well as review samples for approval for fit.● Overseeing the order process ensuring all orders sent promptly, the best prices negotiated and all delivery dates achieved in-line with customer requirements. ● Reviewing prices constantly to ensure they fit within price parameters for a garment/style category.● Dealing with production problems and queries, providing solutions and negotiating cost prices reductions where applicable

• Developed new business accounts with Republic, Shop Direct whilst managing existing accounts with Animal, Matalan, Tesco, Dunnes & Next across Men’s casualwear, Outerwear and Nightwear.• Identified new product, using existing suppliers through contacts network to start to maximise underperforming areas of the range. This involved collating costs, arranging samples and then highlighting new products to both new and existing accounts, seeing through to order placement.

● Responsible for the Critical Path from design pack handover, through to delivery of product into the Distribution Centre. Overseeing development of the product through sample sign-off, contract placement, bulk production and shipment.● Ranges included: Accessories/Jewellery (bracelets, pendants, sunglasses, watches, scarves, hats, belts, seasonal gift-sets); Menswear (jersey, sweat, shirting, denim, outerwear, bottoms, knitwear) and Ladieswear (jersey, sweat, shirting, denim, outerwear, bottoms, knitwear)● Worked alongside Sales Director and Head of Design to plan Range selection and finalisation. ● Signed-off all cost prices to fit in with seasonal budget requirements and margin parameters. Quickly introduced new ways of working, costing and negotiating in order to grow Operating Margin resulting in a 5% increase.● Ensured that supplier performance was monitored and managed to maintain required service level. Also agreed Terms and Conditions of Purchase with suppliers and payment terms.● Instrumental in drafting distribution of business across supply based on product capabilities.● Undertook regular overseas trips to meet with existing and new suppliers.● Directed project to significantly reduce quality issues. Worked with freight partners to Quality Control check product at source, driving through an improvement from 50% pass first time to over 90% in a 3 month period. Dealt with ad-hoc quality issues with responsibility to provide resolutions.● Liaised with Brand Protection team in relation to counterfeit garment and unlicensed sales of genuine Henleys product. Took appropriate action against offending suppliers.● Led re-branding project on 3 occasions, tasked with identifying and appointing nominated trims suppliers, resulting in consistent brand representation.● Coordinated the process of enhancing production practices to enable goods to be sold in Europe.● Worked alongside Garment Tech/QA on garment fit ensuring quality control was maintained.
