Learners undertaking the training programme at A4e are referred by Careers Wales as they are NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) immediately beforehand, and are seeking employment and training opportunities.As a Centre Tutor I was responsible for the delivery of employment skills to learners aged 16+, delivering the EPD (Employment and Personal Development) qualification at Entry Level 3 & Level 1.

At the PRU I worked with young people aged 14 - 16 years old who had become disengaged from school. The young people had often left school due to behavioural difficulties stemming from a vast range of personal and family issues. I began to design and deliver sessions and courses based on topics that were relevant to the young people such as Personal Development, Healthy Living, Seeking Employment, Planning and Problem Solving Skills. In addition, I supported the young people with their Maths and English GCSE qualifications, and began working towards the Level 3 Delivering Basic Skills to Adults Qualification.

At Cwrt Sart I worked with children and young people aged 11 - 16 to provide help and support to those with learning and/or speech and language difficulties, as well as supporting those with dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia.
