As an attorney in Levenfeld Pearlstein's Community Associations Group, I work exclusively with condominium and homeowners associations in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. I help cooperative, condominium, and homeowners associations navigate a variety of legal, financial and governance issues, including offering common sense solutions to governance challenges; formally amending the association's governing documents (preparing amendments as well as advising on the required approval process); reviewing, negotiating and modifying various agreements with contractors, vendors and service providers; and advising association clients on enforcement of governing documents. Prior to joining Levenfeld Pearlstein, I began my community associations career as an attorney with a boutique law firm in Manhattan serving cooperative and condominium association boards throughout New York City.
