Reporting to the MD I was responsible for managing and developing the company’s sales activities within the national buying group and independent sectors, including merchant and DIY/Hardware accounts. Key tasks also include identifying and developing further sales channels for CNC, monitoring competitor activities and development of strategies to compete with and combat any such activities. Planning and implementation of both sales and marketing budgets under my control. Working closely with internal and external personnel to ensure delivery of any such plans. I also held responsibility for the selection, procurement and marketing of 50% of the company’s product offering.Additional activities include managing CNC’s team of 11 field Sales Managers & Sales Agents to ensure that individual and company targets and development objectives are met.
