As the Scholar Support & College Access Director, I manage and run both the High School Support Program and College Access Proram. For the High School Support Program, I work to support our high school scholars by directly training and developing our academic coaches as they meet with our scholars on a weekly basis. With the academic coaches, I troubleshoot issues and develop game plans to problem solve and push our scholars to the next level in each of our pillars of scholar excellence. On the College Access side of things, I work with juniors in seniors to ensure scholars are prepared for college with rigorous ACT prep, college essay writing workshops, college access panels, and much more with the goal of each senior being accepted into the prestigious college or university of their choice with the financial means to persist . In this dual role, I also work to flesh out the design, implementation, and long-term plans for both of these programs.

Educate juniors and seniors in Advanced Algebra, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus with over 77% mastery. Provide individualized instruction and support, increasing students’ ACT math scores by an average of 4 points. Develop and mentor students preparing for college and student teachers aiming to receive their education certification.
