Courses taught/teaching: COMM 329-The Art of Persuasion and Social ChangeThis course I had the honor and pleasure of designing. It has a combined focus- the study of classical rhetorical appeals and effective techniques, and the study of the rhetoric of seminal arguments written since the founding of the United States which effected major social change. . WRT 310-Academic WritingThis course focuses on students' development of writing abilities through the composition of a Response to Literature and research-based argument on an exigent contemporary social issue. One-on-one support and intensive revision are implemented.

Courses taught: Literature in SocietyThis fully online course emphasized components of literary analysis, effective use of active reading strategies, the study of literary genres, and composition. Genres included fiction, poetry, drama, and non-fiction.Completed three-month-long training in Online Learning System best practices.

Taught ninth and tenth grade high school English, from remedial through college preparatory. Collaborated with tenth grade lead teacher on designing common curriculum and assessments.
