Recently achieved First Class Honours in BSc (Hons) Business & Management at Technological University Dublin. Prior to taking this course I completed a two year Higher Cert in Business Studies at TUDublin, achieving a Distinction. I am a highly driven student with a passion for teamwork, education and achieving my goals.In October 2022, I was selected to represent Technological University Dublin at the Lazaridis International Case Competition in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. While there, I participated in a 5-hour and 24-hour rounds, against 16 schools from around the world.I was elected Class Representative four years in a row, a position which required that I represent the interests of my classmates, and served as an intermediary between the students and faculty. I engaged with members of both groups both on an individual and group level, resolving issues and leading to a healthier classroom environment. The upside is that these three years have greatly improved my interpersonal and leadership skills and given me experience working within the confines of a larger group/organisation.Additionally, for the last three years, I served as a Peer Mentor for the new students in my course, where I helped integrate new students into their college life, both through class presentations and on an individual basis. I found that by engaging new students in a friendly and open manner, it was easier to draw them out of their shells and get them to fully engage with their classmates and their lecturers, which was a thoroughly rewarding experience.I am an avid reader, and can often be found engrossed in a book when waiting between classes or even on the train (which has occasionally caused me to miss a stop, which I suppose is a complement to the quality of the book itself!). I also enjoy long walks, either with my dog or by myself, with my favourite walks being along Bray or in Newbridge Park.
