It all started with my father telling me stories, and then I began to write down my own. In college, I picked up a camera and started telling stories through a lens. After school, I took some courses at a tech college in Film Production. A few semesters later and I decided to make it my career. I started shooting commercial projects for local businesses and then I moved to another state. Once in North Carolina, I started over and began focusing on still photography. Adam McCoy Photography emerged from this dedication and I worked as an independent photographer for a few years. But I wanted more experience and I wanted to shoot video as well as film related projects. A Craigslist ad brought me to All Pro Media, where I was their DP/Writer for almost 6 years. I left All Pro to start The REEL McCoy. I look at it as a brand and not just a business. My clients choose me for my style and my ability to collaborate with them for a desired result. I focus on cinematography, photography and editing for projects across multiple industries such as, Food & Beverage, Real Estate and Corporate Films.
