Founding member and partner of CCDBT. Provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy treatment services at CCDBT. DBT is a treatment for clients who meet criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder and often includes treating suicidal and self-injurious behavior. Provide individual and family therapy for adults and adolescents who are participating in the DBT programs at CCDBT. Provide DBT Skills Training groups under the auspices of the DBT program. Conduct structured diagnostic interviews for patients entering the DBT program. Also conduct individual and family therapy for anxiety, mood, and behavior disorders utilizing evidence-based cognitive behavioral techniques. Review video/audio of sessions and provide supervision of Post Doctoral Fellows in clinical psychology as they provide services at CCDBT. Participate in the DBT Consultation Team at CCDBT. Conduct outreach seminars for school districts to help facilitate connections between schools and CCDBT therapy programs.

Provide Two-Day Trainings, Foundational Trainings, and Intensive Trainings in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Also provide trainings that serve as a general introduction to DBT. Provide tailored consultation to programs that are implementing DBT within their systems. Trainings and consultations are organized by Behavioral Tech, L.L.C. across the country and internationally. Two-Day trainings are provided in a large group format to clinicians from various disciplines, including social work, psychology, psychiatry, and other branches of mental health service. Two-Day trainings include teaching of the content of the DBT skills, training in the structure of the treatment, and discussions of the methods of presentation of the DBT skills or DBT individual therapy. Intensive and Foundational trainings include consultation and teaching on development of DBT programs, development of consultation teams, and development of techniques and strategies to implement DBT. Monthly consultation sessions are also provided as part of DBT Implementation Projects or to individual DBT teams that request such services. These consultation sessions can occur in person, by telephone, or by web-based conference.

Held faculty appointment as Clinical Supervisor within the Department of Psychology at the University of Washington. Provided long-distance clinical supervision to advanced graduate students in clinical psychology at the Behavioral Research and Therapy Clinics (BRTC) of the University of Washington. The BRTC are the treatment development clinics led by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., ABPP. Dr. Linehan is the treatment developer for Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In the role of clinical supervisor, review students’ session video/audio from individual therapy and skills groups. Met with graduate students via internet for clinical supervision of cases and groups.

Organized and facilitated the content and logistics for the 2012 and 2013 conferences of the International Society for the Improvement and Teaching of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (ISITDBT). ISITDBT is a volunteer organization with the sole task of organizing an annual conference to bring together DBT clinicians from around the US and around the globe. The ISITDBT conference aims to provide workshops for clinical development of DBT skills or DBT program development, as well as research panels to disseminate information about the ongoing evidence base that underlies DBT. The 2012 ISITDBT conference was the 17th Annual Conference and was held in National Harbor, MD. The 2013 ISITDBT conference was the 18th Annual Conference and was held in Nashville, TN. Both conferences were held in conjunction with the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy (ABCT) annual convention.
