I’m Adam Plummer and I'm attending UTD as a Junior. I am majoring in Finance and plan to graduate in 2023. I have many different skills I have learned throughout my education. In high school alone I was able to receive incredible certificates for engineering and business based classes while starting my own business. I have a Career Skills Certificate in Exploring Business and Marketing alongside an engineering certificate; Career Skills Certificate in CAD Architectural Design. I am also certified by the Federal Aviation Administration to fly drones commercially. In high school I decided to start my own aerial photography business in partnership with a friend. The business revolves around aerial photography of real estate and other freelance jobs. I have worked at two jobs; Target and HEB. Both of these jobs have taught me very valuable information I will use when working for a company or creating another business. Things I love to do besides work are 3d modeling/3d printing, building computers, and even learning to fly. In sophomore year of high school I got my students pilot's license which gives me the ability to fly a plane on my own. Also in high school while taking engineering classes I learned how to 3d model objects on software. I use multiple softwares to make 3d objects or parts. Many times I have had neighbors come to me with a broken part and asked me to design and 3d a new one. I love this because not only am I doing it for fun but everytime I design a new part I learn something new. Those are some of my skills and hobbies and now I'm on a new chapter. I can't wait to experience all that college has to offer and learn valuable career information every day!
