In this role I am required to define & drive the technical strategy of the company as the technical lead for the entire company. I began as a project manager for an ecommerce platform but my responsibilities became that of a Chief Technology Officer as a new branch of the company was created, in which I define and lead business strategy as well as driving technology. Worked closely with multiple global blue-chip client's in producing a software as a service solution to minimise wastage and cost whilst maximising marketing exposure of producing marketing materials for over a thousand stores throughout Europe.Whilst in this role I; - Updated a Web-Forms application to MVC with EF6 Code First - Increase algorithm speed and efficiency by a factor greater than 10 - Created an algorithm to provide the optimal coverage of window space for marketing materials - Created a system that reduced wastage of marketing materials - Improved clients marketing campaign efficiencyI also had an impact in introducing Business Intelligence; - Introduced SSAS, SSIS and SSRS - Produced a reporting structure to provide business insights - Utilised analysis to spot trends in re-printed jobs - Introduced sales forecastingI also produced an internal system that was used by the Despatch Department to track analytics through the department.
