For several years now, I have served at DC Water, I have had the great opportunity in joining with our management team in leading the Compliance Program into the future. I am very passionate about water quality and sewer regulation. I am always looking for ways to share with the public what great things we are doing at DC Water. I am also serving in DC Waters Ambassador program. This program allows me to interact with the community in DC and educate the public about water and sewer infrastructure.I have over 13 year’s experience in the municipal water and sewer industry. Through my years as an operator, inspector, and now assistant program manager, I have strived to learn every aspect in field operations for distribution and collection. While at DC Water, as a compliance specialist, I have taken the lead in creating new forms for our specialist, adapting SOPs, and supporting my manger in building better communication and team work within the department. Currently I have led in the creation of a fats, oil, and grease program for the department. I am currently serving in the active role of assistant program manager for this portion of the program. I am excited to announce that 2 months ago I decided that I really want more education in my field, so I am going back to school this summer to get my BA In Business Management and Communications.
