I always look to solve problems in a creative way. At Western Michigan, where I completed my degree in Mechanical Engineering, I learned to leverage both technical and interpersonal skills to lead teams in projects in the classroom and in the workplace. -Majoring in mechanical engineering has provided a broad knowledge of engineering concepts -Minoring in leadership and business strategy has allowed me to learn and grow in a unique and innovative environment that is advantageous in group problem solving as well as growing a network-Apart of WMU Medallion scholars of 2019, a group of high achieving students making a difference in the greater Kalamazoo area -Experience at Tesla allowed me to grow as an engineer in a fast pace environment while taking on multiple high priority projects. Including rapid prototyping, balancing multiple stakeholder interest, and leveraging my engineering instincts-Experience at IDC industries as a summer intern taught me how to apply mechanical engineering concepts to high performance gearbox systems while managing tight time tables -Experience at FCA as a summer intern was a chance for me to grow as a leader and handle a fast moving environment with responsibility of people and product-Passion for innovation, growing as a leader, and building my network
