I started my automotive career while enrolled in the same school that I am now an instructor for in the automotive service technology program over 15 years ago. During my career I worked at both dealerships and independent automotive service center so I bring a wide array of experience to my current position. I was at one time ASE Master certified along with L1 - Engine Performance certified, specializing in mostly drivability diagnosis but worked bumper to bumper. My teaching career started by chance, and I knew that the technician shortage meant the upcoming techs needed a good educational foundation to be able to repair the complicated vehicles of the future.
