Seeing the inner workings of myfather's gallery piqued my interest in the Art Business at an early age. My internship atGrogan & Company in Dedham, MA gave me a better understanding of the currenttrends in the art market, and solidified my passion for the art business. My interest incuration led me to organizing my own "pop-up" exhibition, "Nature's Helmet: TheHuman Skull" in late January, 2012 at Orchard's Skateshop on Harvard Avenue inAllston, MA. The process invigorated me to continue on the path of becoming a galleryowner.Shortly after graduating college, I opened my own art gallery, Adelson Galleries Boston,in the SoWA arts district. My gallery represents contemporary artists, and exhibits otheremerging and established artists whose work is varied in aesthetic, yet binding inconsistent quality. The gallery quickly became one of Boston’s most well respectedvenues for exhibiting Contemporary Fine Art, and placed several artworks inMuseums and major collections around the world. My gallery participates in Art Fairs,such as Art Miami and BARCU (Bogotá, Colombia), and works with Museums to further the development of the artists that we represent.In 2018, I opened a second location in Palm Beach, FL. After a year of going back and forth between Boston and Palm Beach, I realized I couldn't be in two places at once, so I closed Adelson Galleries Boston to focus on Palm Beach full time. Today, I am the Executive Director of Adelson Galleries Palm Beach and Adelson Galleries New York (located in the Fuller Building, 595 Madison Avenue, 4th Floor). I operate the company with the help of my sister, Alexa Adelson (Director, Adelson Galleries) in Palm Beach, my brother Alan Adelson (Director, Adelson Galleries) in New York, both parents Jan and Warren Adelson (Founder/President, Adelson Galleries), and my sister-in-law Georgia Adelson (Gallery Manager, Adelson Galleries).
