Researcher (Business And Labour Standards/Human Rights)
During my time at the ILO, I conducted a research project within IPEC at the ILO (see www.ilo.org/ipec) that aimed to produce a guide and disseminate knowledge through conferences and workshops for managerial practice in commercial organisations looking to meaningfully engage with child labour reduction initiatives in their supply chain. The project built on initial desk-based research by conducting applied, case-based research in a number of the largest organisations operating in industries susceptible to the use of child labour. Examples of these include primary industry: mining, tobacco, sugar and cotton production, as well as electronics.
Research Fellow
During my time at Cranfield, I supported a research project at Cranfield University School of Management that aimed to bring the benefits of customer driven supply chains into managerial practice by conducting applied and primarily case-based research in a number of the largest organisations operating in the United Kingdom.
