My responsibilities as the Product Manager included ensuring all technology development and integrations were designed and built with a future safe design that took into consideration the current best practices and the currently available technology.I designed and was primary developer on an internal microservices platform called NAFx. The platform was built on ASP.NET Core web services, each secured behind an implementation of IdentityServer4 (an OpenID Connect provider) that leveraged Azure Active Directory for Authentication while maintaining Authorization at the platform and service level as appropriate. All microservices included "living documentation" generated by OpenAPI Documentation (aka Swagger). The services were behind an API Gateway provided by an implementation of Ocelot, which also included a centralized Swagger for all services. Services included an Azure SQL Database accessed using EntityFramework Core as appropriate. Each service included a Nuget package of view models, that were mapped to the internal models and entities using AutoMapper. Some services were built based on Azure Functions leveraging Service Bus, Queue, Blob, Http and Durable Task triggers. Each service was backed by a separate project in Azure DevOps, with Git repositories maintaining the code. Code was managed in a GitFlow methodology, including Pull Requests with all code reviewed and approved by Sr. Developers. PRs automatically triggered Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Automated builds triggered automated releases into Azure, including automated Database updates via EFCore Migrations. All microservices were designed as independent services, allowing multiple groups to develop on NAFx without any conflict. New services could be provisioned and ready for development in as little as 2 hours.I also trained Encompass developers on NAFx, increasing the number of .NET Developers capable of working on the microservices platform.

As Implementation and Development Lead I built an Encompass360 SDK application that asynchronously ran millions of jobs a month on Encompass. Jobs were built of re-usable "pipeline components", running at different times of the day based on business priority and system stability. Jobs saved thousands of work hours by automating manual tasks, and ensured consistent results with standardized processes.This position also entailed providing internal training to other Encompass administrators, working with Ellie Mae as a Client Early Adopter, and presenting at the Ellie Mae Experience conference.

I worked to implement Encompass360 for over 1000 users. I developed multi-threaded applications using C# and the Encompass SDK to enable batch uploading of data to Encompass, including User information, NMLS Licensing reports, FNMA Purchase Advice data files, Chase/Citi/PennyMac Post Closing Conditions and Federal Reference Numbers. I developed B2B interfaces in Encompass using XML, and custom applications to export Encompass data into SQL databases. During this time I built custom input/output forms for industry standard print forms, created custom input forms with codebase assemblies to increase functionality of standard Encompass screens.

I was the Fair Lending Specialist, specializing in the statistical analysis of loan production to ensure that policies and procedures do not discriminate against any minority groups. I worked on the customization and optimization of the loan origination software for the company wide implementation, crafting a software experience that was unique to the company's workflow. This includes developing new software modules to automate common tasks, which saved the company dozens of work hours each week. I developed numerous Standard Operation Procedures, created efficient solutions to expedite Federally mandated reporting, and ensured that the company is compliant with regulations for the Federal and 15 different State governments.

Cloppenburg, Germany. Trained on all of the diagnostic tests in the hospital laboratory. Trained to prepare human blood and tissue samples that entered the laboratory and to maintain the laboratory as a sterile environment.

Independent research into the statistical likelihood of homologous recombination. Researched current literature on the subject, self-taught Python coding, and wrote programs to analyze information gained from NCBI and other databases. Regular presentations on progress of project were given to other researchers.
