Intentional, success-driven, personable, leader with a wide array of design skills, including graphic design, photography, video editing, 3D animation, and web development.---After acquiring an associate degree from Illinois Central College, I then transferred to Bradley University and graduated with a BS in Interactive Media and a Studio Art minor. Following college, I grew a passion for fitness and obtained a personal trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Since then, I have opened an LLC, utilizing my skillset designing the logo and brand concept for the business. Initially wanting to make personal training a full-time job, and after working for a small fitness studio as well, I decided it is best suited as a fun hobby rather than a career.Alongside various full-time positions in other industries, I've contributed my skills in multiple small businesses, creating flyers, social media advertisements, business cards, letterheads, promotional videos, and a website redesign. A creative and abstract designer at heart, I'm always looking to create or inspire new ways of thinking and seeing things. I like to challenge societal norms by presenting new and unique perspectives through art and digital media, which is good when analytics call for a change in strategy.Although I’ve held full-time positions outside of the media industry, I’ve found ways to utilize my design-oriented skillset in many of those positions as well. Whether it was through social media posts or merchandising, I’ve always excelled when given the freedom to be creative. Aside from my design capabilities, I have been told one of my biggest strengths is my personality and likability. It’s very easy for me to quickly network, creating strong relationships with new clients, customers, coworkers, neighbors, etc.I enjoy spending my spare time with my 10-year-old son, watching movies, going fishing, golfing, or riding my motorcycle. I'm also very musically gifted, having played drums since I was 4, choir when I was younger---achieving 1st at a state competition, picked up guitar in high school, and I dabble a little on the keys. I was fortunate to have two parents who are both musically inclined, as my father is a worship pastor alongside my mother, a pianist, at their church. It was a given that I'd have some creative talent.
