As a handyman, I am generally responsible for electrical, mechanical and plumbing related repairs. Various duties are to perform electrical repairs in community areas, occupied apartments, vacant apartments, and the rest of the building. As well as to ensure mechanical equipment is in working order and fixed as necessary. Apart from this , complete general building cleaning and maintenance is performed every day. Maintaining and repairing air conditioning and heating systems are also a requirement. As a doorman , the duties shift , as I am now responsible for opening doors and screening visitors and deliveries as well as providing other courtesy services such as signing for packages, carrying luggage between the elevator and the street, or hailing taxis for residents and guests.As a porter, responsible for making sure that the buildings are in clean and functioning order for their occupants. As a porter, my tasks are making sure to sweep and mop hallways, vacuum carpets, clean bathrooms, collect and properly dispose of waste, and organize cleaning supplies.
