Seasoned business development professional seeking new role. I am personable, persuasive, with experience of selling at all levels of the company/corporate structure. My approach is one of consultative selling, not "hard" selling. As a published writer, I am also passionate about the correct use of English, and every email I send is written professionally and for the maximum impact.I also have extensive knowledge of aviation, particularly of the light aircraft, recreational flying market, having been a practising light aircraft pilot since my early 20s. As a published writer of related aviation themed historical/technical magazine articles, I also have excellent research skills across all media, traditional and digital, as well as in the conducting of personal interview.s.With regard to my primary specialisation to date - sales - until the first quarter of 2016, I was employed by an NHS contractor in selling a new working methodology to GP practices all over Sussex. Previously, I have worked for a commercial finance brokerage, managing a team of seven commercial finance funding consultants, and have also worked selling media evaluation services to clients within London and elsewhere. Before that, I had been employed as an Account Manager by Dow Jones, in the City of London, and during that time was responsible for managing a bench of 120 existing clients, and was able to extend my experience of client-facing account management, and to capitalise on those relationships to lever new sales and generate increased new business revenue.I am now looking for a new role that makes use of one or more areas of my expertise/experience, that provides a realistic renumeration/incentive package.
