I was employed by Greengage on a short-term project to overhaul the sales process which resulted in a 200% increase in new customers over 5- months. I founded SAT Worldwide (LTD), an FCA authorised payment institution and HMRC licensed money service business in 2007 to provide a solution for international workers and professional sports people to send funds home, typically back to Australia and New Zealand on a regular basis. Since then the business has grown and counts property investors, migrants, expats and high net worth individuals amongst it's private client business whilst on the corporate side of the business SAT deals with and manages the foreign exchange requirements for a diverse range of customers including sports equipment manufacturers and clothing companies to travel agents and charities all over the world.In establishing the business I have been responsible for opening client bank accounts, implementing compliance policy, running international payment strategies, developing trading facilities and building banking relationships. My primary responsibility is business development alongside generating new and nurturing existing client relationships. The business manages client currency requirements and risk against market fluctuations through reports and proactive commentary on relevant economic data affecting a client's foreign currency exposure.
