As a recent graduate from Technological University Dublin (TUD) with a BSc in Business and Management, having developed a strong foundation in finance and accounting, I have now joined Bank of Ireland’s Group Finance division, where I focus on finance transformation—a critical function in today’s evolving financial landscape.Throughout my academic journey, I sought out hands-on experience to complement my studies. I was fortunate to intern with PwC as an Assurance Intern for six months, immersing myself in the complexities of the banking sector. This experience allowed me to work on high-impact projects such as global bank transaction confirmations and detailed financial statement reviews. The mentorship and collaboration with experienced professionals not only honed my technical skills but also gave me a broader understanding of the financial world.In addition to my professional internships, I’ve held positions in fast-paced environments such as retail, bartending, and hospitality. These roles sharpened my abilities to work under pressure, manage diverse stakeholder interactions, and pay meticulous attention to detail—skills that are just as crucial in the corporate world as they are in service industries.Now, as I step into this new chapter with Bank of Ireland, I am eager to contribute to meaningful finance transformation projects and continue expanding my expertise in finance and management within a dynamic business environment.
