Built a diverse team of National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) leaders and Directors of National Board support programs and led the collaborative development of a grant with the NEA to launch an integrated system of National Board Certification support for diverse California educators. Coordinated partners from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), the California Department of Education (CDE), and the National Board Support Centers at the University of California, Los Angeles, and Stanford University to recruit diverse educators for all four project components, including cohorts for educators who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color (BIPOC). Connected and supported statewide teams of diverse NBCTs to lead program components. Managed all aspects of the grant including data collection, budgeting, and reporting.Provided statewide technical assistance for CTA members with complex credentialing issues. Worked with local associations and district leaders to identify retention strategies for teachers impacted by the annual generation of teaching assignment exceptions as part of the California Statewide Assignment Accountability System (CalSAAS). Provided statewide professional learning in the areas of credentialing, accountability, and continuous improvement and supported local associations in Northern California with bargaining and organizing activities.Appointed by the Executive Director as the Staff Policy Consultant for the Credentials and Professional Development (CPD) Committee of the California Teachers Association (CTA).
