I lead the engineering organization for the core Chef product vertical that consists of multiple cross-functional engineering teams. Our teams execute within a continuous delivery paradigm and are responsible for the quality and value of our industry-leading DevOps products including Chef Client, the Chef Development Kit, and public cloud integrations with AWS and Azure.Within engineering, I build systems to promote trust between team members, analyze our effectiveness, and ask questions that lead to teams to make improvements. I engage teams to look for and remove bottlenecks on progress and delivery of value to users.My role includes driving continuous delivery philosophy and practice across the organization, development of engineering competency and overall team health internally and through learning and hiring, and ensuring alignment with the product design, services, and operations teams so that we collectively advance company business goals.I work directly with open source communities, industry partners, and customers to ensure that Chef meets their needs and reaches its maximum potential to give human creativity the full power of software to transcend the problems of our age.

Led a team engineering components of Open Source and Enterprise Chef, the leading cloud infrastructure automation platform from Chef. Responsibilities include architecture, implementation, product definition, and operation of Chef products, particularly with regard to Windows and cloud platform integration.
