Seasoned researcher with experience in chemistry and thermal hydraulics. Mostly molten salts, but some experience with liquid sodium and aqueous systems. Over 10 years working with molten salts from lab scale to 100s of kg, including but not limited to: electrochemistry, purification, characterization, gloveboxes, actinides hazardous chemicals, heat transfer, high temperatures, and high pressures. Extensive analytical experience with: inert gas fusion (combustion analysis), ICP, TGA/DSC, titration, SEM, XRD, LIBS, and many others. Strong communication skills demonstrated with a patent, numerous peer-reviewed publications, and many conference presentations. Teaching experience, leadership experience, and strong safety focus.
